Why we chose narrative counseling over standard psychometric assessments?
Psychomteric testing is algorithm based, narrative counseling gives you the truth because it’s working in real time. Most counselors who opt for test will just give a dialogue of the report created by a system but we give you a customised roadmap created just for you. Understanding the counseling theories and combining them to form a tailored questionnaire for each student is our approach rather than following a test blindly.
We specialise in finding ‘invisible’ opportunities— for instance, I recently worked very closely with a student of mine to help her secure a seat at Christ University, Bangalore just by understanding her approach, her interests and then helping find the right course and preparing her for the interview and micro presentation. This saved her a a lot of time and stress of multiple applications, last minute admission panic and most importantly, expensive management quotas.
